Pictured in May 1959, this was the purpose built factory for Elva Cars Ltd in Sedlescombe Road North, Hastings.

Note the agreement with Esso who wanted a petrol station in the area and helped finance the project.

Alas, the factory units were demolished justa few years ago to provide a site for a supermarket, but the 'Elva Service Station' remains.
